One of the simpliest exact match paint kits in Ireland. We simply find your colour code using your registration number. We then order your exact paint in an 400ML Aerosol can. The kit will give you all the tools for a professional look and finish. This product is designed to be done by anyone without the need for special tools. Just add your registration number before adding to the cart and that’s it we will do the rest. Suitable For: Repainting second hand parts and panels (wing mirrors, petrol flaps, spoilers) Painting new parts We recommend using a panel beater for larger parts such as bumpers, wings and doors. Kit Contents: 500ML Novol Professional Primer Aerosol Can 400ML Car Paint Aerosol Can 500ML Novol Professional Clear Lacquer Aerosol 2 X Scotch Pads Grey 60ML Panel Wipe 1 X Spray out card 100 Gram Farecla G360 Compound 3 X Martin Cox Microfibre Cloths Directions: N.B. If you are painting over plastics add Plastic Primer to your order N.B Always test Colour with spray out card provided to ensure a good colour match before you begin. 1: Use the scotch pad to lightly scratch the surface your painting 2: Use panel wipe and a microfibre cloth to wipe your paint area clean and allow to dry. 3: Apply Primer as your first layer of spray. ( If painting plastic parts ensure you use Plastic Primer before you spray your standard primer). Allow to dry for at least 1 hour. 4: Give your primed area a very light scotch ensuring not to penetrate the primed layer. 5: Apply a second coat of the panel wipe to your work area. 6: Apply your aerosol car paint. Allow at least one hour to dry. 7: Apply your clear lacquer over the paint. Allow at least one hour to dry. 8: Apply your compound with a wet Microfibre cloth using a light circular pattern. Top Tips: If there is rust present surface please use a scotch pad to prepare the surface and remove any signs of rust before the primer. Heat will make the job easier and help to cure the primer, paint and lacquer faster. A hot air gun is an ideal tool for this job but lets call a spade a spade, not everyone will have a hot air gun in their toolbox!! A hairdryer can also be an effective tool for this job! Please Note: Always spray a test piece using the spray out card provided to ensure that its a good colour match. Mixed paint products are non refundable as they are mixed specifically to your car. We will get your exact car colour match using your registration number. We then send your paint code to our supplier who mixes it up and puts it in an aerosol can. Please ensure you shake the Aerosol rigorously and also be aware that your car paint fades over time. This means that the colour we mix for you should be an exact match but if you feel that your paint is faded you can bring in your car where we can scan it with our fancy camera and give you the exact paint that is on your car even if its faded. Spray in a steady, back-and-forth motion, overlapping each stroke. Test Spray: Always test spray on a piece of cardboard or scrap material to check the spray pattern and consistency. Avoid Flames: Aerosol paints are flammable. Keep away from open flames, sparks, and heated surfaces. 4. Health Precautions: Avoid Inhalation: Even with ventilation, take breaks to get fresh air. Never spray paint inside a closed room without proper respiratory protection. First Aid: Know the first aid procedures for inhalation, skin contact, and eye contact. Have safety data sheets (SDS) for the paints you’re using accessible. 5. Environmental Protection: Dispose of Cans Properly: Never puncture, burn, or incinerate aerosol cans.
