TRUMBASH THROWING KNIFE Congo / c. 1950s A vintage trumbash throwing knife, used by the Mangbetu people in central Africa Congo area. Manufactured probably in the mid-20th century. The handle is made of wood and is covered with a piece of leather, and it has some cracking due to to the wood drying out. The tip of the handle has woven iron wire around it. The two-sided blade is made of sturdy steel, though it has a few dents around the edges. The knife is in untouched vintage condition. Total length 46 cm Weight 470 grams Ships from Finland.
