Description Arkhan the Cruel is an original character created by Joe Manganiello along with a number of other characters called the Dark Order. Arkhan has appeared in a number of fantasy stories and games over the years and we are excited that he is coming to Infinite Legions. Here is a brief overview of Arkhan the Cruel’s story: Arkhan the Cruel is an oathbreaker paladin loyal to a powerful dragon queen. Striking a bargain with the dragon queen for her favor in exchange for a promise to release her from her captivity in Hell, many of Arkhan’s adventures revolve around this ultimate goal. Arguably Arkhan’s most daring adventure, and certainly one of his most well known, was a quest to defeat a powerful lich. Teamed with a band of heroes, the group eventually defeated their enemy, only for Arkhan to reveal his true goal – to steal a powerful artifact belonging to the lich, the creature’s left hand. Severing his own left hand, Arkhan placed the cursed hand of the lich where his own had been moments before to gain control of the artifact. Thanking the heroes for their help, and assuring them his betrayal was just business, Arkhan teleported away to continue his adventures. While the cursed hand that Arkhan now possesses is a powerful tool in his ultimate quest to free the dragon queen, the power it wields comes at a price. The cursed hand is slowly overtaking Arkhan and corrupting his body with the necrotic influence of that supremely magical item. Assisting Arkhan in his quest to release his queen from captivity are his Dark Order, including his chief interrogator and leader of his artifact squad, Aksana. Other notable members of the Dark Order are his minotaur bodyguard, Torogar Steelfist, the turtle-like death cleric named Krull, and his manticore pet and companion, Chango. The Infinite Legions Arkhan the Cruel figure includes 2 sets of swappable hands plus an additional “cursed” hand and arm that can be swapped out with his normal left arm. This figure also includes 2 heads – one with a closed mouth and gritted teeth and one with an open mouth. The open mouth head is made to be used with the “flame breath” effect that is also included. Rounding out this figure is his Bonecleaver axe, a spell effect for his cursed hand, removable shoulder armor, a bendy tail, and a premium wired soft goods loin piece and large wired cape with real chain!
