Evercoat Metal Glaze Ultra 880ML Product Overview Product Details DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY METAL GLAZE ULTRA is the world-s best sanding polyester putty for use as a finishing coat over body filler, large panels, or small spot filling. Its unparalleled sanding qualities are a result of the patent pending ECORESIN. Formulated with ZNX-7 for improved adhesion. A self-leveling finishing putty offering superior adhesion and easy sanding. Use for light filling and repair of damaged panels up to 3 mm in depth. SUBSTRATES It can be used over bare steel, galvanized and other zinc coated steel, SMC, fiberglass and aluminum, sanded body filler, sanded OEM paint, E-Coat, and cured sanded 2K primer. It can also be used for cosmetic fiberglass and composite repair. PREPARATION Clean and degrease the entire repair area with soap and water, followed by a mild degreasing solvent. Use P80-P180 to remove, or if not damaged just scuff the paint and featheredge P180-P220. MIXING Use only with the Cream Hardener supplied! Measure hardener 2% by weight (approximately a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 10 cm diameter puddle). Puddles larger than 10 cm in diameter will require additional hardener. Mix thoroughly until uniform color is achieved. APPLICATION Apply in thin layers and spread smoothly. The unique formula will allow sanding without clogging during the curing process after appx. 10 mins. Allow to cure fully before finishing to a feather edge.
