A 2K Epoxy floor paint finish that has excellent application properties. It also has excellent chemical resistance particularly to Skydrol. Typical applications include structural steelwork, chemical plant, sewage plant etc. Epilife 2 is suitable for use as a concrete floor coating (consult technical regarding other types of flooring). Kit Contains: 1 X HMG EPILIFE 2 EPOXY FLOOR PAINT 5L – 00A05 GOOSEWING GREY 1 X HMG CUR9070 EPOXY HARDENER 5L Mix Ratio- 1:1 Technical Properties Coverage 8-12 Square metres per litre. Flashpoint 24 °C Temperature Resistance 180 for short periods °C Storage Store between 5°C – 25°C. When not in use, cans must be kept sealed Shelf Life 12 months from delivery date in original sealed containers Additional Technical Information Mixed weight solids:- 47% plus or minus 2% Mixed volume solids:- 40% plus or minus 2% Chemical Resistance Fluid resistance:- Skydrol – No affect on coating after 3hrs immersion. Engine oil (1hr@60°C) – No affect on coating. Gear oil (1hr@25°C) – No affect on coating. Hydraulic oil (1hr@25°C) – No affect on coating. Diesel (1hr@25°C) – No affect on coating. Water (7 days@25°C) – No affect on coating. Amine (24hrs@25°C) – No affect on coating. QUV 250hrs – No chalking or loss of gloss. Slight yellowing. Maximum VOC Content 0.543 Kg/l Colour Goosewing Grey Cleaning Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants.
