DESCRIPTION An antique bichaq knife manufactured in the Bosnian area of the central Balkan, approximately in the 1880s. The yataghan-style eared horn-gripped bronze handle is decorated with typical bull’s eye decorations. The unfullered single-edged carbon steel blade has no markings. The wooden scabbard is plated with bronze. CONDITION The knife is in good antique condition with minor signs of age and wear. The knife fits well in its scabbard.
